Esmaeil leads our culinary team and brings over 40 years experience cooking and catering some of the finest Persian cuisine in the GTA. His kabobs, rice, stews and dips star in the celebrations and weddings of the Persian-Canadian community and he's been called onto feed celebrities, politicians and business leaders—he's also received national media recognition. Now he's bringing his talents to the County.
Leading the front of the house is Maral who, along with her husband Michael, joined her parents in calling the County home last spring. Her breadth of historical and culinary knowledge is only matched by her hospitality talents which are backed by a decade of experience working various hospitality jobs in Toronto.
Nardereh co-leads our culinary team. In addition to being Esmaeil's partner in life and his right hand in the kitchen, she's a renowned cook and expert in Persian regional cuisine. Her homestyle rice, Persian stews and legendary hospitality will leave your heart as full as your plate. She makes the best tea and tahdig in the County so come hungry.
Michael Di Caro, brings a decade of experience storytelling in the local hospitality community having written and photographed the local food and wine scene for the likes of Spotlight Toronto, Foodism and Vitis. He's also a logistics magician thanks to his work helping organise and produce some of Southern Ontario's most exciting and exclusive food, culture and drink festivals like: Food Truck Eats, Curryfest and the Street Food Block Party. As the team's baker and resident sweetooth he promises dessert will be worth.
